Battle Report 2: Latari vs. Daqan

Welcome to the second Battle Report here at Impact 3! I was able to get two games in at this week's local Runewars night, with the first game featuring my Latari list discussed in the various Learning to Play articles up against Colby, another one of the local Daqan players. This was my first time playing against Colby and my first time against Rune Golems, so I was looking forward to seeing how Daqan played when piloted by someone other than my usual Daqan opponent as well as testing out the changes I had made to my list. Learning to Play - Latari List Building Update

Welcome back to Impact 3! Today I will be continuing the discussion on my current Latari list that I plan to play at Regionals on June 16. If you live anywhere within driving distance of San Antonio, TX, you should come on out and join us for a day of Runewars and great games! With that aside, I have now played the Latari list previously discussed here five or six times, and it is now time to make a few changes to the list. I don't have too much room to move things around in the list due to already being at 200pts, but there are some key changes I think can help with the consistency of the list. While this article is directed towards newer players, I do think it can serve as a reminder to most veteran players, and some of y'all might actually learn something from this. Let's Discuss Lay of the Land and Corruption Rune

Welcome back to Impact 3! Last week, FFG dropped the newest article for the Darnati Warriors (FINALLY!!!) and spoiled two new upgrades that will be included in the box, Lay of the Land and Corruption Rune. After waiting for the Darnati Warriors since jumping into the game, I was very intrigued by the possibilities that these upgrades will provide for Latari, and overall, I think both are decent additions to Latari lists. Below are my initial thoughts on both upgrades and a few ideas on how they may be utilized.
